The Gold Standard jackets represent the culmination of 125 years of heritage, combining luxurious trims, modern styling and innovative fabrications. The Barbour Gold Standard Canna Wax Jacket uses Barbour’s legendary wax cotton for its outer shell. The time-tested material is extremely durable and weather resistant. The lining of the jacket is made from Barbour’s FibreDown insulation an innovative and lightweight microfibre fill designed to keep you warm and protected from even the harshest weather conditions. Not only this, but the material is also water-resistant which means it keeps its water-resistant properties even when wet, and dries very quickly. The jacket features military-inspired details such as four-pocket setup on the front with Barbour branded metal snap buttons and epaulettes on the shoulders. It also includes an extra pocket on the side with Barbour branded patch. Classic Barbour details like a heavy metal zipper with storm flap closure. The jacket come with a detachable hood that is also insulated for those especially chilly days.

Brand: Barbour International
Barbour International has been producing motorcycle clothing since 1936. Each piece is imbued with the brand’s long history of motorcycling heritage and offers both fashion pieces inspired by the biking style, and high-performance technical wear for those who ride themselves. Keen motorcyclist Duncan Barbour founded the range with the A1 one-piece wax cotton suit called the ‘Barbour International’. It was developed specifically for the 1936 International Six Day Trials and went on to become so popular that many of the riders wore it throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, including the actor Steve McQueen, in 1964. Today, the brand use contemporary fabrics, as well as their original wax-cotton innovation, to create men’s and women’s wear collections that are woven with an authentic biker aesthetic.
