Barbour International has been producing motorcycle clothing since 1936. Keen motorcyclist Duncan Barbour founded the range with the A1 one-piece wax cotton suit called the ‘Barbour International’. It was developed specifically for the 1936 International Six Day Trials and went on to become so popular that many of the riders wore it throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, including the actor Steve McQueen, in 1964.
